Extended Information
A few hours after escorting the supply truck to your fellow soldiers, you’re all finally sitting around enjoying some of the hard-fought spoils of combat. In a flash, the scene turns to chaos. A barrage of enemy shells shatters the nighttime quiet, and you’re in the midst of an all-out firefight. With German infantry and tanks storming across the open field, you’ll need to think fast. From picking off the enemy one at a time with your sniper rifle, to mowing them down with a mounted machine-gun, to taking out Tiger tanks with a bazooka, use whatever it takes to stop the advance.
Nine single-player levels from Normandy to Berlin, including:
D-Day — June 6, 1944: Your mission is to parachute behind enemy lines with the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), the 101st Airborne, and the British 6th and secure the route from Arnhem to the Willemsvaart Canal, the corridor appropriately known as "Hell’sHighway".
Battle of the Bulge — December 18, 1944: Jammed into trucks with the 501st PIR, you’re the first unit to confront a massive Nazi advance. You'll need all the firepower and battle skill you can muster to push back the German spearhead.
Road to Berlin — January 20, 1945: American and British forces have ceased their advance on Berlin, leaving the final invasion to the Russian Red Army. You've been ordered into the city to retrieve vital documents before the Russians launch their full-scale assault on the heart of the once-mighty German war machine.
More than 15 new WWI weapons, including the Russian PPSH-41, British Sten Mark 2, and American Smoke Grenades.
